Our wholesome fruit hot cross buns are ready!
We combine the traditional fluffiness of quick yeast with the extra flavour of our sourdough starter, lots of aromatic spices and delicious Australian dried fruits.
Each bun is cut and shaped by hand (!), nestled in a tray together, risen until fluffy, crossed, baked until golden and glazed with sugar syrup.
Our special blend of quality Australian flours includes Laucke Flour Mills wholemeal flour and high protein wheat flours.
Excellent toasted under the grill or wrapped in foil and warmed in the oven.
INGREDIENTS: wheaten flour (contains folic acid, thiamine), wholemeal wheat flour, water, dried fruits (sultanas, currants), cane sugar, yeast, vegetable oil, iodised sea salt, spices (cassia cinnamon, coriander, ginger, nutmeg, cloves)
