Our rye sourdough loaf is made with 100% organic rye, fresh-milled in-house. Each loaf is fermented with our rye sourdough starter (wild yeast and lactic acid bacteria), hand-shaped, and baked in a bread tin. We keep the crust free of excess flour for a unique German-style loaf. The crust is soft with a tender, moist texture and authentic rye flavour.
We use quality organic rye grains from Four Leaf Milling which we freshly mill in-house for each loaf. We do not add dark colours, caraway seeds, gluten powder, commercial yeast or artificial preservatives.
