These artisan rolls combine freshly roasted pureed pumpkin with premium Laucke Flour Mills wholemeal and high-protein wheat flours, are naturally leavened (wild yeast and bacteria) with our sourdough starter and slowly fermented for a wholesome small bread. We do not add commercial yeast or artificial preservatives.
The roasted pumpkin gives a deep golden yellow colour, mild sweetness, rich flavour and soft texture and crust. We carefully press the hand-shaped rolls into vibrant green pepitas (pumpkin seeds) for a delicious toasty outside layer.
Our delicious rolls are well suited for home-made garlic breads, a wholesome bread to support a sandwich filling, or simply to slice generously and enjoy with a meal.
