Our sourdough breads 'starter' pack includes two delicious loaves: our classic bakers sourdough loaf and our wholesome spiced fruits & oats sourdough loaf.

Our bakers sourdough loaf is slowly fermented (wild yeast and bacteria) over a couple of days, hand-shaped and baked in a stone based oven for a delicious crisp crust with a tender, airy crumb texture and mild fermented wheat flavour.

We use quality Australian flours from Laucke Flour Mills for our special blend including stone-ground wholemeal flour and creamy high protein wheat flour. We do not add commercial yeast or artificial preservatives.  

This versatile loaf is a special adaptation of our classic, multi-award-winning loaf we have been teaching in our baking classes since 2013.

spiced fruits & oats sourdough loaf

The spiced fruits & oats sourdough loaf is our gourmet version of classic raisin toast breads. This loaf is a wholesome fruit-filled sourdough bread with fragrant spices and a roasted Australian rolled oats crust. The dough is naturally fermented (wild yeast and bacteria) over a couple of days, gently hand-shaped and baked in our special "toaster friendly" loaf pans.  

Our special blend of quality Australian flours includes Laucke Flour Mills wholemeal flour and high protein wheat flours. We do not add commercial yeast or artificial preservatives and our unique blend of dried fruits have no added sulfur.  

A perfect bread to eat fresh or sliced thick, toasted and enjoyed crisp and warm.

ALLERGEN INFORMATION: contains gluten, wheat (whilst due care is taken, our kitchen may have present: tree nuts, peanuts, sesame seeds)

INGREDIENTS: wheaten flour (contains folic acid, thiamine), wholemeal wheat flour (25%), water, sultanas (contains vegetable oil), currants, dried dates, rolled oats, iodised sea salt, spices (cassia cinnamon, coriander, ginger, nutmeg, cloves)

ALLERGEN INFORMATION: contains gluten, wheat (whilst due care is taken, our kitchen may have present: tree nuts, peanuts, sesame seeds)
